Ovulation Signs Vaginal Discharge After Ovulation and signs of pregnancy?
Vaginal Discharge After Ovulation? I ovulated around May 12th or 13th, and I noticed today and yesterday I had excess vaginal discharge. It is clear and wet(sorry TMI). It isn't an infection either. Is this normal or what could it be?
And when did everyone start showing signs of pregnancy?
Your discharge sounds like EWCM (egg white cervical mucous), EWCM usually indicates ovulation.
Generally pregnancy symptoms don't appear til around the 6th week.
I'm a little new to natural family planning. What are some signs of ovulation? I have a hard time pinpointing the number of days in my cycle- where do you count from (first day of last period?) and is it possible to ovulate 1 week before an expected period? That may be a stupid question haha but I've heard different opinions on that. If it helps my last cycle started November 15 and lasted 4 days. I believe I should start another cycle around the 13th this month.
Start counting cycle day 1 as the first day of real flow of your period. The last day of your cycle will then be the day before your next period starts, and you start all over with day 1 again. It's possible to ovulate 1 week before your period, but it would mean you have a seriously short luteal phase and would have problems getting pregnant and /or sustaining a pregnancy.
Ovulation signs: look for an increase of clear, slippery, stretchy cervica mucous (egg-white cervical mucous, ewcm). It'll often come out on the tissue when you wipe, or if you're not squeamish, you can check it by inserting a finger or 2 into your vagina and getting some fluid on your fingers. When you see this cm, ovulation will be approaching soon and you should be having regular sex (once a day or once every other day). Another sign is cervical position. Your cervix will be soft, high, open, and wet (SHOW) near ovulation. It gets tricky trying to figure out what position it's in, and you'll have to check it regularly throughout your cycle to notice any differences. One of the biggest predictors of ovulation for me is that I get extremely frisky and really want to have sex when I'm ovulating. It's really the only time of the month I really must have sex or I'll just burst. You'll get the hang of listening to your body after a few cycles. You could always try charting your basal body temp too. That'll tell you after you've ovulated, because your temp will increase after ovulation and stay high until your period starts. Good luck and have fun!!
