Can ovulation predictor kits give wrong readings?
I came off the pill 5 weeks ago and ttc. Was due on last Thursday and no period. Decided to start using an ovulation predictor kit. Yesterday and today I have had a positive reading however, I am started spotting with brown discharge. Is this my period? Can you ovulate and have brown discharge at same time? I am very confused. Could the reading be wrong? Why? If this is implantation bleeding would I get a positive ovulation result?
Ovulation predictor kits can be tricky because to get a positive reading you don't only need to see a line like on a pregnancy test. The line has to be as dark as or darker than the control line.
