Chances of conceiving fraternal twins of the opposite sex naturally?
What are the chances of having fraternal twins of the opposite sex naturally? (one boy, one girl) Is there anything to increase the chance of having fraternal or identical twins, or something to increase the chance that you would have a boy or girl?
Identical twins are by chance. Fraternal twins can run in families (only on the mothers side).
If you are not taking fertility drugs your chances of girl/boy, girl/girl and boy/boy is one third (1/3) for each.
Regarding fraternal twins having girl/boy twins is just slightly higher than girl/girl and boy/boy twins if you are taking fertility drugs. The pie is divided into three, one section girl/girl, one section boy/boy and one section girl/boy. Because I took fertility drugs I knew I was not having identical twins. This eliminated a small portion of girl/girl and boy/boy twins (25%?) that were identical. From looking at the pie I saw that I was more likely to have boy/girl twins. And that is what I had!

Twins. What if anything should I do to increase chance naturally?
My husband and I would love to conceive twins. has anyone done this naturally? I don't want to take any drugs or go through ivf, just wanted to know if anyone did anything specific?
i've heard eating more yams and increasing your dairy intake will help conceive twins. they also say you have a higher chance if you're over the age of 35. Good luck. i too would love to conceive twins.
