Lh Surge
Does an LH surge mean you are about to ovulate or you have already?
I think I keep phrasing my question wrong. If my urine test indicated that I had an LH surge on Friday. Doesn't this mean my husband and I should have had sex that day? I was under the impression that means you are ABOUT to ovulate. Does it mean you ARE ovulating and you may have missed the window?? I'm confused. We had sex Tuesday, Friday morning, and Saturday afternoon. Friday morning was when my stick indicated an LH surge. Can someone straighten me out?? Thanks a ton! Any infor is appreciated!
The LH surge comes right before you ovulate. So sex the day that turns positive is great.

CD14 and still no LH surge!!!
If im testing negative for LH surge what can I try next?
Ive been using the First Response Ovulation tests & everytime i use the test it tells me that i have no LH surge.. im not 100% sure what the LH surge is. What does it mean if the tests are saying i have no LH surge? What can my next step be to get pregnant? Please Help !! Thanks.
Hi there,
A negative test means that your LH surge isn't happening and ovulation isn't happening yet. You either missed your surge (it can be tricky to catch) or you aren't there yet. It depends on where you are in your cycle. When did your last period START?
There are other signs of ovulation... pinching pains on one side or the other, increased cervical fluid... have you had any of those?
