Iui Pregnancy How long should I wait after an IUI to take pregnancy test.?
I had an IUI yesterday and was wondering how long should I wait to take a pregnancy test. My doctor told me to wait until April 27. I have a 35 day cycle, but I'm due to start my period on April 21. Do I need to wait that long or do you think my doctor was just confused? I was thinking that I could test on the 20th.
I would test around the 20th - my RE always scheduled me for a blood test at 2 weeks past IUI which puts you just before the 20th . . . with a home pregnancy test not being as sensitive as a blood test, the 20th would be a good day to test, in my opinion.

iui and pregnancy?
Had iui done 9/1/07 did pg test twice on 9/7/07came out positive.
Please help don't to give myself false hope my boobs are very sore and my stomach.
i don't want to bring you down, but if you did an HCG shot to bring on ovulation, you might be getting a false positive. HCG is the same stuff that pregnancy tests detect for a positive result. It normally takes about a week or so for the HCG to get out of your system and can bring on signs of pregnancy. Normally you should wait until two or three days before your period is due to test. But I would stay positive, you could very well be pregnant.
