Getting Pregnant Bible
Serious question: Is it possible for someone not sexually active or a virgin to get pregnant?
I don't know if this is totally fiction or not and was really curious. I was watching House and it showed a woman becoming pregnant although she was a true virgin. Somehow her body fertilized itself. I was pretty sure it wasn't true but, thought I would ask: Can a woman who is a virgin or not sexually active for a very long time get pregnant from fertilizing her own body?
I know it's in the bible but, as a contextualist I don't think it means it literally.

Also can woman exsperience false pregnancies like other animals - dogs and cats.
A human woman can not get get pregnant without a male sperm. The method of delivery can be different, but no woman can fertilize herself.
A human woman can experience a false pregnancy. It's called a psuedo pregnancy, where the body produces the hormones, and mimics the action, when no actual fetus is present.

Getting Pregnant Bible
Recently divorced & Pregnant... What does the Bible say I should do?
I am 4 months divorced and 4 months pregnant by a man I love, but not ready to marry already. There is no doubt who the father is, absolutely zero. While neither one of were trying to get pregnant, I was hoping to start in about 6 months, just not yet... My family doesn't condone my divorce or the father of my unborn child (they don't know I'm pregnant. I am a Christian but have made some recent wrong choices that have led me here. I feel I need to be right with God but cannot bring myself to step forward and ask... Suggestions (real suggestions)?
If you love this man and he is someone you can build a good life with why is there such hardship in your choice? You say you were hoping to get pregnant in 6 months but that isn't really far away in the larger horizon of life. You already have made the first steps into a new life and since there has been nothing in your speech about financial or medical difficulties why everyone is telling you to give away your child? You can make everything right with God and have a life that you seem to be very invested in already. Your family should remember that there is only one true judge and he will always give you a second chance.
